Bee on a dandelionWe’ve got lots of colourful pollinator-friendly plants growing in the greenhouse for the flower beds at Hinckley station this summer.

They’re all grown from seed in peat free compost with no pesticides so they’ll be safe for bees, butterflies and other wildlife (and for any children who touch them).

Geranium seedlingsPoached egg plantsThere’ll be foxgloves, sunflowers, stocks, nasturtiums, pansies, geraniums and more, and don’t be surprised if you see a few ‘weeds’ like dandelions and daisies – they’re all flowers and the bees love them!

And we hope to have enough plants to fill a couple of tubs too, so if you’d like to sponsor one please let us know.
